Hey there, Kaylee!
I'm so glad that you asked this question because there are A TON of things to do in Disney California Adventure Park! You are correct that a large portion of Paradise Pier is closed for refurbishment until June 23, 2018, when it will reopen as Pixar Pier. While that work is going on, here are just some of the great things you and your kids can still enjoy:
-All the attractions and immersive theming of Cars Land! The picture-perfect detail of this land is simply jaw-dropping plus the attractions are incredibly fun for kids at least 32" tall (or 40" tall for Radiator Springs Racers).
-"a bug's land" is also perfect for little ones. There are three attractions that both kids can ride plus a splash pad to play in to cool down on hot days. Your older child might also like Tuck and Roll's Drive 'Em Buggies which is similar to bumper cars.
-
Toy Story Midway Mania remains open and is so much fun for the whole family. Other attractions like The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure and Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue are also where we spend a lot time when we are there.
-When it's time for your kids to burn some energy, they can have a blast climbing and exploring the
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
-There are also lots of
characters to meet here including Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Spider-Man, Captain America, Lightning McQueen, Mater, Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and so many more.
I could still go on and on, so I definitely hope your family explores all the amazing things at Disney California Adventure Park this summer!
-Linda
