Happy (early) Valentine’s Day, Dawn!
As a former teacher, your question brought back many fun memories of classroom parties and Valentine exchanges. I think adding a Walt Disney World Resort souvenir to your daughter's Valentines would show off her DisneySide.
Although each visit my son wants to buy every classmate a giant Mickey Mouse plush, I look for smaller items that I can pack in our suitcase. We have purchased Mickey pencils, sticker packs, trading pins and of course Mickey crisped rice treats. One year we purchased antenna toppers, which make incredible pencil accessories. On our most recent trip, my son collected transportation cards and Disney Vacation Club stickers for his friends. There were a few cards I really wanted to keep for myself!
If your 1st grader enjoys crafting, she may enjoy some of the Disney-inspired crafts available on the
Disney Family website. There are seasonal recipes, games, coloring pages and even printable Valentines. In fact, I am printing a few stickers from this site right now!
I am sure you and your daughter will find the perfect Disney item to add to her Valentines. Have a wonderful trip and eat a Mickey crisped rice treat for me!
