    Heather from VA Asked

Hi! We are visiting in early December. My sister is recovering from a leg injury and wants to know if she will be able to bring her Tens unit into the parks with her for pain relief? It’s about the size of her cellphone.

    Howdy Heather!

Welcome to planDisney!  WOW!  You will be waving at Mickey and his pals in less than a month!  This is super exciting!  Thank you for sharing your question with us!

I am so sorry to hear about your sister, but I have some good news to share!  Your sister will be able to bring her TENS Unit into the theme parks.  I bring my TENS Unit into the theme parks for almost every visit to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.  My TENS Unit is a little larger than a smartphone.  I always show it to the security in the bag check area and let them know before entering the theme parks.  There is a list of items that are not allowed in the theme parks.  I have placed a link in the text above to view all the things that are not allowed!

I know you are excited to experience all the festivities of the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort!  You will be coming at the perfect time!  The nighttime spectacular Disney Enchantment is a must-see!  This beautiful display will begin at Cinderella Castle and go all the way down Main Street, U.S.A.  I recommend finding your perfect spot to view this breathtaking show. You will be happy that you did!  To stay informed of all the announcements about this grand celebration, go to “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” website!  Also, check the Disney Parks Blog daily to learn about everything to see and do during your vacation!

If you have any more questions as you continue to plan your visit to Neverland, please come back to planDisney!  We look forward to helping you and your sister make “Memories to Last a Lifetime” in just a few weeks, Heather!

    See Ya Real Soon,
    Tamela
