I am visiting in early December and would like to go to the Boardwalk after Epcot closes. Can I park at the hotel since Epcot will be closed before I leave the Boardwalk about midnight? I am not staying at a Disney hotel.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan!

I love enjoying Disney’s BoardWalk in the evenings when it lights up with Atlantic City-like charm, street performers, wonderful dining, shopping, and other great recreation options for the entire family! My favorite thing to do is to rent a surrey bike and ride around to Disney’s Beach Club and Yacht Club resorts while enjoying the fireworks from Epcot’s IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. And after that fun workout, a delicious treat at Ample Hills Creamery. YUM!

Resort parking is reserved for guests staying at the resorts or for guests with dining reservations, who will have a three-hour parking limit. Guests are welcome to use the complimentary transportation from Disney Springs to the Resorts, and parking at Disney Springs is complimentary. You could also try taking an Uber or cab that evening, so you don’t have to worry about parking and moving your vehicle. A ride to those destinations would be fairly inexpensive. Another option is leaving your car in the Epcot parking lot, then calling a cab after you are done for the night at the BoardWalk; keeping in mind Epcot parking lot closing times.

I hope you have a magical and super fun time playing at Epcot and at Disney’s BoardWalk! For any additional questions, don’t hesitate to stop by. It’s our pleasure to help you dream up and plan your magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    See ya real soon,
