Hi! We will be visiting DW with a 9yr F and 4yr M sep 12-18. We will arrive late aft on 12th so thinking of doing dwnttwn Disn on 12th leaving early on 18th. We have 4 day ticketsw/PH. Any recommendations on an agenda? Thanks!

    Hi Ronda:

Mid-September is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World.  The summer heat starts to cool off and crowds tend to thin a bit as most schools are back in session.  I agree with your plan to take the first day easy.  That first day can be tough traveling with little ones, so my family usually relaxes by the pool and has a bite to eat at Downtown Disney.

While every family is different, I would propose hitting any Park but the Magic Kingdom the first two days, which will be weekends.  While I don't anticipate heavy crowds when you visit, Magic Kingdom can tend to be more crowded on weekends.  So for Saturday September 13th, I would hit Epcot (or Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom, depending on your family's interests).  I would consider making Sunday the 14th your Park day off (however, if one day of your visit looks like it may be a weather wash-out, you may want to be flexible and switch your off-day). I would then visit Hollywood Studios on Monday September 15th.  Your best bet with Magic Kingdom will likely be Tuesday September 16th.  I would then leave Wednesday September 17th to visit Animal Kingdom (or the Park you haven't visited yet) or to revisit Magic Kingdom if you feel there is more to see.  With a Park Hopper, you can visit Animal Kingdom in the morning of the 17th and then Magic Kingdom in the afternoon and evening.

At Magic Kingdom, check out Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, The Haunted Mansion.  At Epcot, check out Spaceship Earth, Soarin', Test Track, and Agent P's World Showcase Adventure.  Our must-dos at Hollywood Studios include Toy Story Mania and Muppet Vision 3-D.  At Animal Kingdom, our family always rides Kilimanjaro Safari and visits Conservation Station.

    Enjoy your vacation.
