Hello Helen,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where it's always a huge privilege to assist fellow Guests from the United Kingdom with their jolly holiday plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
I'm super excited to know you're planning an October 2018 Disney holiday as I believe
Autumn at Walt Disney World Resort is a truly beautiful time of yEar to visit; I'm sure you'll enjoy seeing all the Fall decor in around the Disney Theme Parks and Resorts not to mention visiting the delicious
Epcot International Food and Wine Festival! For me the most spooktacular place for your Princess to celebrate Halloween would be
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party which is a separately ticketed event held on select nights during August through to early November. Attendees can dress in their favourite ghostly attire and get to trick or treat at select locations all around Magic Kingdom Park.
Another fiendishly fun spot to check out during the Halloween season are the
Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort as Guests decorate their rather large RVs (or camper-vans as we know them here in the UK) and general camping areas with plenty of full-on Halloween spirit, plus there's usually an unofficial parade of decorated Golf Carts; do check with Cast Members at
Front Desk Services of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort for an up to date schedule.
Have a great Disney day.
~ Jane
