Hi we are visiting DW oct 19-nov 2 how is the weather? Are there thunderstorms?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Marlene!

Fall is a fabulous time to visit Disney World!  There are so many exciting things happening!

Its also usually a great weather time to visit as well.  Hurricane season is winding down and the humidity is usually lower.  The average rain fall amount is around 2 1/2 inches each month.  The average high temperature in October is around 85 degrees Fahrenheit and low around 65 degrees.  In November, the average highs are around 78 degrees and lows 58 degrees.  Since you're visiting at the beginning of November, you'll likely still feel closer to the October temperatures.  Thunderstorms are not nearly as common as they are in the spring and summer months but they are not completely unheard of either.

Keep in mind these are averages. I was down for the Inaugural Tower of Terror 10-Miler at the end of last September. It rained a lot a couple of the days we were there and there were a couple of thunderstorms as well. The humidity was really high too. Being from Georgia, it didn't really bother me and it only lasted a few days before it cleared out.

I always recommend that Guests check the 10-day forecast for Orlando before making their final packing selections. That way you can be prepared.  However I can tell you now, there is always a 100% chance of pixie dust.

Please feel free to visit with all of your planning questions.  We're hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
