We will be visiting DW in Nov., I have 3 boys (5, 7-1/2, 10) & my sister has 2 boys (5, 7-1/2). We're purchasing the hopper pass & would like to know what you feel are can't miss restaurants (both character and not) on their dining plan? Thanks,

My son has some fave restaurants at WDW. He's now 8. So I know what it's like to seek out dining experiences for boys.

    Here's our conversation:
Mom has a question to answer about restaurants. There are two families traveling together and they have 5 boys altogether. What are some of your favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World?

I would know that they would like to eat at Chef Mickey's, Donald's Safari breakfast, Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney, Hoop Dee Doo, Whispering Canyon and I think that's it.

Now this 8  year old of mine is playing with Legos while we wait for a thunderstorm to pass by so he's attention was only half on my inquiry.

But I can tell you that he's on the absolute right track. Chef Mickey's and Donald's are nice experiences for the boys and their age ranges. Rainforest Cafe is lots of fun with its simulated thunderstorms. Hoop Dee Doo and Whispering Canyon Cafe are both a hoot.

You may also want to try:
San Angel Inn (if Mexican food is your thing. My son loves burritos. He enjoys sitting by the "river" as boats go by.)
50s Prime Time Cafe or the Sci Fi at Hollywood Studios

Also the T-Rex Cafe at Downtown Disney might be open by November. We can't wait to try it!
