WIll be visiting DW May 3-7, with my 3 1/2 year old daughter, staying at ASMovies. Just wondering what our best bet is as far as dividing our time between the parks, and also if there was anything we should avoid as it is just the two of us? Thanks

    Hi Denise!

Most three and a half year old guests really enjoy the Magic Kingdom.  So without a doubt, I recommend going to that theme park first.  After that, I would recommend Disney's Hollywood Studios, though a lot of my fellow panelists would probably recommend Disney's Animal Kingdom second since young guests generally love looking at animals!

Epcot is a mixed bag based on my experiences with my two sons.  When he was 3 to 4 years old, my youngest son really enjoyed the Seas with Nemo and Friends and could have stayed in that Pavilion all day.  Some very young guests also really enjoy Soarin', so I would consider doing that if your daughter is tall enough.  Unfortunately, neither of my sons liked any part of World Showcase at that age!

I do recommend staying away from any 3-D shows.  That seemed to scare both of my sons when they were young.  The only exception would be Mickey's PhilharMagic in the Magic Kingdom which isn't scary at all.  Finally, my sons were scared by the fireworks and we would have to "hide" inside a store or an attraction during that time.  However, they did really enjoy the nighttime parade in the Magic Kingdom; if you go, be sure to get a spot at least 30 minutes early as the parade is very popular.

Have a magical vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
