We are visiting DW June for the first time & purchased the park hopper BUT I am hearing that it is not worth it , that most people visit one park per day instead of going from one to the other. What is your opinion? We will be there for 4 1/2 days..

One of my standard pieces of advice for guests looking to save money is to skip the park hopper option, especially if you will be relying solely on Disney transportation.  Here's why: when using Disney buses you should plan on up to an hour of travel time from resort to park.  For guests who wish to park hop, that equates to a significant amount of travel time just to go from one park to another.  Since your visit is only 4.5 days, you'd probably make better use of your time sticking to a single park per day.  In my family, we seldom use park hoppers.  In fact, rarely (if ever) do we use them to experience attractions in multiple parks per day.  If anything, we will visit one park for the majority of the day and "hop" to Epcot for dinner in one of the World Showcase restaurants before calling it a night.  I consider the park hopper an unnecessary splurge, but one that adds some options if money is no object!
