We are visiting DW from 12/18-27. First visit for boys who r 7/10. Can't decide between the Dining Plan and Deluxe. I want to make sure we have enough food but I also don't want to waste time sitting to eat. We don't really want a big bill for add ons.

    Hi Benjamin!

How exciting!  I just know that you guys are going to have a magical, wonderful trip.  My boys are also three years apart and we have enjoyed taking them since they were two.  Every single trip is special!

I know that, with boys, eating is a very important part of your day:)  However, we truly feel like the regular dining plan is the way to go.  The deluxe plan would take up way too much of our day sitting at restaurants, and we don't want to do that.  There are too many other things on our "to-do lists"!

Additionally, the quick-service meals are very generously portioned.  It's more than enough to fill us up.  We usually even stick our desserts in a bag and eat them later.

One thing we like to do, if we are making a breakfast reservation, is to make it late. (between 9:30-10:30) Breakfasts are more expensive at Disney World than in other places, and my boys don't eat that much first thing in the morning.  This way, by the time our reservation rolls around, we can eat a lot and it will serve as our breakfast and lunch.  If we have a lunch reservation, we will just do a granola bar or something similar for breakfast.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
