We are visiting DW Feb 26 to March 5 will we still need to book dinner 180 day in advance, or can we book a day or ahead

    Hi Jim,

Although you will be visiting at a less crowded time of year, I still recommend making dining reservations as soon as possible. You'll find that popular restaurants like Be Our Guest, Chef Mickey's, Le Cellier, and others fill up very quickly. If you want do dine in popular spots like these, you'll need to plan 180 days in advance.

Having said that, if you decide not to make any advance reservations until a day in advance, you'll still be able to find some decent dining options. Who knows, you may even get lucky and score a cancellation for a more popular restaurant.

So bottom line, if there is someplace you really want to eat, then make those reservations at your 180 day window. Otherwise, you can probably wait.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
