    Hi - we are visiting DW this December/Jan with the deluxe DDP. At Kona Cafe, can a kids dessert be upgraded to the Kona Kone on the DDP, or will I need to pay out of pocket? Thank you!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another great Disney dining question!

    From what I understand, regardless of whether you’ve chosen the regular Disney Dining Plan or the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, a child’s table service entitlements must be used to make selections from the Kids’ Menu. Because the Kona Kone isn’t included on the Kona Cafe’s kids menu, that means that you’ll have to pay for it “out of pocket”. You can also order it for yourself and share with your little one… but I wouldn’t recommend that on vacation! 

    As always, information about what is and isn’t included with the Disney Dining Plan is subject to change, so please ask your server when you place your order. They’ll be happy to help!
