Hi Ann!
Thank you for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for your vacation planning questions. We love to help!
Disney recently debuted the new Memory Maker service, which has now taken the place of PhotoPass+. You are still able to pre-order this service, and it does include unlimited pictures, however, you now receive those photos digitally instead of on a disc. (You are able to purchase them on a disc for an additional cost.) While on my last vacation, I used Memory Maker, and there are some definite benefits to this new service. For one, you can link the members are of your traveling party through your My Disney Experience account and save the photos from all your party members to one account. You are also able to use multiple PhotoPass cards or your Magic Bands, so if your party splits up, you will still be able to capture everyone's fun. My parents actually took my son to see Mickey while I was in a completely different park and yet I felt connected looking at the pictures saved to my Memory Maker account. You may purchase the Memory Maker service anytime before your visit as your 30 day window will not begin until you have downloaded your first picture. Please be aware that you will want to purchase it at least 3 days before you arrive or your first pictures will not be included.
For further information and tips, I highly recommend reading through the
Frequently Asked Questions section on the Walt Disney World website.
Thank you again for returning to our panel. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
Magical Adventures,
Lauren
