We will be visiting DLC in June this year for my birthday and I would really love to see the firework display - i cannot see the schedule that far ahead and was wondering if you have an idea of what days we would possibly see the firework display for plann

Hi Kelly! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

You're going to have the most magical visit to Disneyland Resort, and I completely understand wanting to include exciting Entertainment like parades and fireworks as a part of your experience. Typically, fireworks, when they run as scheduled, can be enjoyed in Disneyland Park on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. During peak seasons, such as the summer, that schedule may be expanded.

Since you're visiting the parks on a Friday, I think there's a good chance fireworks will be planned for your park day. This isn't guaranteed, however, and please be aware that fireworks are sometimes cancelled for safety and weather-related reasons even if they're on the day's schedule. If that happens to be the case, you have other nighttime choices that might give you that extra dose of magic, including the beautiful Paint the Night Parade and the always dazzling Fantasmic! in Frontierland. You can't go wrong with any of these choices.

You're right to keep your eye on the Daily Events Schedule. While we're currently too far out to show your park date, this is the best place to start planning out your must-do activities. In addition to fireworks, you can check other Entertainment schedules and planned refurbishments. Make your plan and then be prepared to be flexible. This is the best way to get the most out of your visit.

    Have a magical day!
