We are visiting DL in a week! We have family (w/o park tickets) joining us in DD for breakfast and to enjoy the Christmas décor! Can we go into the hotel lobbies with the new security? And can you recommend a good "festive" breakfast place?

Howdy, Lisa! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Guests without theme park tickets and those staying at different hotels are absolutely welcome to visit the Disneyland Resort Hotels without any encumbrance. You can also experience all the shopping and dining options in the Downtown Disney District without a park ticket, but you will go through a security checkpoint before you enter this area.

For breakfast, there are a few really great options to try. The whole family can enjoy a character breakfast at Storytellers Cafe, Disney's PCH Grill, or Goofy's Kitchen which are located in the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. These all offer great breakfast buffets while you meet some favorite Disney characters. Plus, each hotel lobby is exquisitely decorated for the season and you might even get a chance to meet Santa himself in the hotel.

Or, in the Downtown Disney District, you might try Catal for a scrumptious Mediterranean meal or Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen for brunch where you can have some of their delicious beignets!

As you can see, there are lots of options for fun and festive breakfasts outside of the parks. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made online or by calling (714) 781-3463. I hope you have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
