Hello there, Tiffany! We are so glad you stopped by with your question for us. Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! I am so sorry you are currently in a walking boot. My son just got out of his this week for the second time this year. I think either option for renting a scooter will work out just fine for your visit. Unfortunately, I don't have the charge information for the Disneyland scooters. What I can share is that there are outlets near some restrooms and dining locations that are available to charge your scooter if needed. Guest Services would be able to help direct you as well. If you follow the tips of turning off the ECV when you are on attractions and stationary for entertainment, it should conserve battery and hopefully last for the duration of the day. A benefit of ScooterBug rental is that if you are on a multi-day stay, you will be able to take it off the property to your hotel and back.
Disneyland scooter rentals need to be done each day and are first-come, first-served. They also cannot be taken off the property. However, if there are any issues with the scooter, they are right there to remedy the situation.
When it comes to attractions, some queues allow for the scooter to be taken all the way up to the
attraction onboarding, and others will need you to park it outside of the queue. The Cast Members at the queue entrance will be helpful and let you know how to proceed.
Tiffany, I know that you will still have a magical time even in the boot. Enjoy
Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort!
