I am visiting DL on Nov 6 for the 1st time. We have taken our boys to dw many times so I wanted to see if there are any extras at Disneyland that are must dos? I loved the pirates boat ride at the contemporary resort to watch fireworks. Boys r ages 4&am

There are so many awesome things to see and do at the Disneyland Resort and you are going to be here at the perfect time to experience it all. I would begin this awesome vacation with Jack Skellington and Zero on the Holiday Haunted Mansion. You will all get spooked at this signature attraction which becomes a macabre mash-up of 2 spirited holidays, courtesy of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. The result is a frightful delight. From there head over to the one and only Matterhorn. This attraction received a total renovation last year and with the new seats and updates inside, this is an attraction that cannot be missed. Say hi to the Yeti for me! If the weather is nice then I would totally recommend that you all go for a fun paddle around the Rivers of America aboard Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes. Transport yourself back to a time before highways, when water was the fastest mode of transportation and an exciting new discovery was around every river bend. These is so much to see and as they say "no row, no go." My kids always love this adventure. Next door at Disney California Adventure the place to be is on Route 66 in Cars Land! After a ride on Radiator Springs Racers you will all know why I call this ride the ultimate Disney driving experience. A great way to end a fun filled day at the parks is to take in the fabulous World of Color. I will tell you that this is without a doubt the best night time show Disney has. I like it better the Fantasmic because it has all of my favorite Disney and Pixar films. I hope this gives you some great ideas on how to make this the best vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth ever. I will see you at the parks.
