    I will be visiting DL on Nov 11-13. Hours on Nov. 11 (Tuesday) are extended until 11PM. The other days the parks close at 8PM. Is there anything special happening on the 11th? When are the official holiday dates for 2014? Thank you for your response.

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great questions. Your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is just around the pixie-dusted corner!

    I’m not aware of any special events at the resort that day, but a reason for the longer park hours could be because it’s the Veterans Day holiday. The parks are often open later when more Guests are expected, and that tends to happen when visitors have the day off from school or work.

    The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort officially kicks off on Nov. 13 and the special seasonal entertainment, decorations, attractions and treats will be offered through Jan. 6.
