We are visiting DL next week. This will be our first visit and we only have 3 days At the park. We have been to DW 2x with our 8and 11 yr old girls. Can you recommend must see attractions? Our youngest loves Snow White and Mosters Inc.

Tara, Disneyland is much smaller in size, but it makes up for that in the attention to detail in every nook and cranny.  You will immediately notice the intimate feeling these parks offer, as everything is so close together and convenient.  This also means less time traveling from point A to point B and more time to enjoy in the parks!  Some of the attractions do overlap, but I urge you to not skip over the duplicates, as they can be a totally different setup out here and it's neat to point out the similarities and differences!

Since you mentioned "Monsters Inc." let's start over at Disney California Adventure Park.  You definitely won't want to miss "Monsters Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue." Join Mike and Sulley on their mission to get Boo back to her bedroom in this classic dark ride that transports you through the movie. You must also check out the all new Cars Land with its tasty eats, fantastic scenery, and over the top attractions, Luigi's Flying Tires, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, and Radiator Springs Racers. You'll think you've walked right into Radiator Springs!

Other must see attractions include: Tower of Terror, Goofy's Sky School, Toy Story Mania, California Screamin', Grizzly River Run.  Also, be sure to make plans to watch World of Color.  You won't be disappointed!

At Disneyland, be sure to take the time to enjoy all of the fine details of the park that Walt Disney, himself, created. Must see DL-exclusive attractions include: Matterhorn Bobsleds, Indiana Jones Adventure, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Alice in Wonderland and Nemo's Submarine Voyage...but you have to check out the west coast versions of it's a small world, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Haunted Mansion!

DL Park is home to some world class entertainment, so make time to check out the all new Mickey and the Magical Map show as well as the shows at Fantasy Faire, the new Princess meet and greet area near Sleeping Beauty Castle! -Amanda F.
