Visiting DL in early Oct. 3 day park hopper pass, first visit with DS5. Is it too much to add Mickey's Spootacular Party to our trip if we will only be spending a day and a half per park. Is Mickey's party isolated to a certain area of the park.

    Hi there Christy,

I say "Go For It."  Adding Mickey's Halloween Party to your quick trip will just enhance it because it will allow you to spend more time in the park after it has closed to regular guests!  Mickey's Halloween Party doesn't start until 7 PM, after the park has closed and it spans throughout all of Disneyland Park.  In addition to many of the attractions remaining open, you'll also get to enjoy trick or treating, special character meet and greets, spooky parades, and festive fireworks displays!

Since the party takes place after regular hours, it will give you some extra time to be in the park and the crowds will be lower then than they are during the day!  I see it as a magical bonus and your son is at the perfect age for it!  He'll have the BEST time!  Bring a costume and a candy bag if you can!

    Best Wishes,
