I will be visiting DisneyWorld from 12/27/10 to 01/01/11 and will be utilizing an electric scooter. Are there electrical outlets available throughout the parks - perhaps at sites where one would wait for one of the many rides?

Hi, Alice from my beautiful home state of Alabama! Congratulations on your trip to Walt Disney World (WDW)!

If you are renting an Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) from a WDW theme park or Downtown Disney, the battery will be fully charged and ready for at least a full day. If you have problems with your ECV, a Cast Member where you rented your ECV can be contacted by other Cast Members in the park and a fresh battery or a new vehicle can replace a faulty one.

If you are bringing your own ECV or renting from an off-site vendor, you'll need to be familiar with the operating procedures and charging instructions.  Most guests will bring their ECVs into their Disney resort rooms at night for charging, and most ECVs keep a charge for at least a full day.  There's no need to worry about charging it throughout the day at the parks.

Have a wonderful Alabama day and a magical vacation!
