We are visiting Disneyworld 12/13-12/20. I have reserved a fireworks cruise and was curious if it was worth the money or would watching the fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian was just as good. Thanks! Great Panel!

My husband treated our family to a fireworks cruise last June to celebrate my birthday. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it.

However, if the cruise will stretch your budget and/or this is a first trip to WDW, I suggest watching the fireworks from a "free" location. The beach at the Polynesian offers a quiet place to view Wishes. The dock at the Grand Floridian also offers a nice place to view the fireworks. At the Grand Floridian, you can also get a table just outside Gasparilla's near the marina for a direct view of Cinderella's Castle.

There are delightful ways to see the fireworks outside of the Magic Kingdom without having to splurge on a cruise.
