Hello, I will be visiting DisneyWorld next month. I will be traveling solo due to unforeseen circustances. Is there a way to get a ticket for the Not so Scary Halloween Party? It is just for one person. Thank you!

Hi there, Laura. Welcome to planDisney, where we are dead-icated to helping you have a hauntingly good time in The Most Magical Place on Earth! I'm sorry to hear that your plans have changed, but I'm very excited to hear that you'll be visiting for a solo trip. I love solo visits to Walt Disney World. I truly enjoy exploring the parks at my own pace! You are going to have a great time!

Laura, I noticed that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is sold out for the rest of the season, and while the ghosts at the Haunted Mansion often materialize, unfortunately, sold-out tickets to this special event typically do not. Because tickets are nonrefundable, I wouldn't expect extra tickets to become available. I know this wasn't the answer you were hoping for. Still, it won't hurt to keep checking the website and talk with Guest Relations when you arrive, just in case the happy haunts receive your sympathetic vibrations and a ticket unexpectedly becomes available.

Now, here at planDisney, we are all about helping you have a dead-lightful time, so let's talk about all the fa-boo-lous things you can experience! Laura, I'm excited to shout out "Bone Appetit" because we need to talk about some fang-tastic foods. The Disney Parks Blog recently published an article that I think you'll love! It highlights not only the fun Halloween treats available in the parks and at Resort hotels, but also Disney Springs, which is the PERFECT place to visit on a solo trip. Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar offers the most adorable spooky foods, and my planDisney friend, Christina, shares that it tastes as good as it looks! I'll be visiting Disney Springs in a few weeks, and I can't wait to go straight to Gideon's Bakehouse for a monster-sized treat called the Bride of Frankenstein Cookie! I hope you'll have the best time enjoying all the Halloween goodies!

Another great spot to visit is EPCOT! While you're in town, you'll be able to enjoy the Food & Wine Festival. Oh my goodness, attending an EPCOT festival is my FAVORITE solo trip activity. You can sample a variety of foods, experience different cultures, and meander around World Showcase at your leisure. I can't wait to enjoy Emile's Fromage Montage-YUM! You can also have a little Halloween fun with Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit. Trust me, this scavenger hunt is fun for all ages, not just kids. Also, be sure to check out the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

Laura, I know I've given you a lot of information, but a solo trip is so much fun, and I want you to enjoy every moment! I know you were hoping for tickets to the Halloween party, but you can still visit Magic Kingdom, see all the fall decorations, and enjoy the spooky vibes.

Please reach back out if you have any other questions or if we can offer any other suggestions. I'm witching on a star that you'll have the best visit ever!

    Boo to you!
