I am visiting Disneyworld this June with 5 family members ages 15 - 20 years old. Would you recommend Mickey's Backyard Barbecue? or would they be too old to enjoy it? Thanks, Linda

Hi Linda!  There is very little that I don't enjoy as an adult at Walt Disney World.  However, with teenagers you might consider the Hoop de Doo as the alternative for Mickey's Backyard Barbecue.  They are both in Fort Wilderness.

Hoop De Doo is held in an old fashioned style dance hall from the old west days!  It is full of slapstick humor and audience participation.  Be careful if you are celebrating anything special as you just might be selected to help them out!  Mickey's Backyard Barbecue is an open air dining experience complete with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Chip and Dale.  There will be live country music , games, and line dancing.  If you are looking for a character experience this is a wonderful one to enjoy for the entire family.

My own family knows they are never too old for anything at Walt Disney World!  They know that mom/grandma will make sure they experience it all and they have loved every minute of their vacations!
