Hello, I am visiting Disneyland this year April 28-May 7. Can I expect fireworks to be scheduled daily during this timeframe? Or will it be scheduled Friday-Sunday nights only? This will help me with reservations/planning. Thank you!

Hi there, Joan, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question and I'm thrilled to hear you have a special trip to the Happiest Place on Earth on the horizon.

I absolutely love the fireworks that accompany some of the nighttime spectaculars, but I will say that the projections - especially with Wondrous Journeys - are absolutely phenomenal. Having said that, the Disneyland Events Schedule is the page you are going to want to watch!

The Disneyland Resort typically releases its entertainment calendar about six weeks out from the current date. As of the time I'm writing my response, it looks like the calendar is showing through April 11, 2023 and is usually updated daily. Therefore, since you're specifically asking about the Mon-Thu of your visit (May 1-4), I would recommend checking back around March 20-23 on the events calendar to see if those dates of your trip have been added.

Additionally, there will be the Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite special events happening on May 2 and 4 during your trip, so there will likely not be nighttime spectaculars offered at Disneyland Park on those nights since the park will close early for the special event. I will note though, that as of the time I'm answering this question, there are still special events tickets available to purchase for the Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite on May 2, which includes an exclusive, Star Wars themed fireworks show!

As for the nights that Disneyland Park closes early, those are great times to plan to see World of Color - ONE at Disney California Adventure Park. Otherwise, I would keep an eye on the entertainment schedule as you get closer to your trip.

Thanks again for your question, Joan! If you have any follow-up questions, please feel free to write me back directly.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
