I will be visiting Disneyland in 2 weeks and will there for 3 days. Can I buy the Disney PhotoPass+ One Week after my trip? Will the price be the same if I purchase before or after my trip?

    Hello Steffany,

Welcome to planDisney. I'm more than happy to help make sure your trip is picture-perfect!

I love that you're already thinking ahead about Disney PhotoPass pictures during your trip. My family always starts our day with a group photo on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park,  or at the Cars Land sign when we visit Disney California Adventure Park. It's a fun way to see how the kids grow and change from year to year and ensures we have a nice family photo before our hair looks too windblown from the thrilling attractions.

You'll have a few options when it comes to purchasing your snapshots. First, and in my opinion, the best value is by purchasing Disney Genie+ Service during your visit. You'll have access to Lightning Lane entrances at attractions across both parks PLUS unlimited downloads of your PhotoPass and attraction photos included in the purchase price each day. I took a-vantage of this on my December visit, hopping from attraction to attraction and posing with my friends along the way. We experienced so many rides and had even more photo memories all for one price per day.

If you don't plan to purchase Genie+ you will also have the option to download your photos with the purchase of Disney PhotoPass+ One Week, which will include all the photos captured within a consecutive 7-day  period. This is currently priced at $78, but subject to change. I'd recommend reviewing the daily pricing for Genie+ each day during your visit later this month. You may find the price to be comparable since you're planning on 3 park days, and using the Lightning Lane entrances at your favorite attractions is a huge time saver!

You can purchase Disney PhotoPass+ One Week before, during, or after your vacation. If you decide to wait and review your photos back home before making the purchase, you'll have the option to view them online or in the Disneyland App. As indicated by the Disney PhotoPass Terms & Conditions, the one week window will begin at 6:00 a.m. PST on the date of the photo you select when purchasing, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on the 6th consecutive day. Once you complete the purchase the watermarks will be removed. You'll just need to make sure you download your photos before they expire, 45 days from the date of capture. At this time, there is no difference in price whether you purchase before or after your visit.

I hope this was helpful, Steffany! Please stop back and see us again with more questions as you countdown to your upcoming visit!

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
