Hi there, Katie!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your trip is right around the corner! With so many amazing
restaurants and snack locations throughout the Disneyland Resort, I have such a difficult time figuring out what I want to eat on my vacations, because I want it all. No matter what your tastes or budget are, there is something for everyone between Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, the Disneyland Resort Hotels, and the Downtown Disney District.
Unfortunately there are no Dining Plans offered at the Disneyland Resort like there are at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. If you want a way to budget your dining, one of my tips is to pre-purchase
Disney Gift Cards before your vacation. I like to travel with a set amount of money on Disney Gift Cards that I use in the park for all of my dining and merchandise purchases. I love this because my spending money is pre-paid, and I don't see a large credit card bill after my trip. Also I like that I know exactly how much I am spending. These Disney Gift Cards are wonderful because you can also register them online in case they are lost or stolen.
Since your trip is coming up, I want you to make sure you get any dining reservations you will need made as soon as possible. Reservations become available to book up to 60 days in advance and some may fill up quickly like Character Dining and entertainment packages. Make sure to view "Table Service" restaurants online for those that require reservations. My family loves Blue Bayou, Carthay Circle Restaurant, Napa Rose, and Storytellers Cafe.
I hope this helps, and happy planning!
