Hiya, Andrea! Thanks so much for popping in to planDisney with your question. You must be excited to infinity and beyond for your
Disneyland Resort visit this week!
Andrea, at any table service restaurant, you will be able to order from your table - they should hand you a physical menu, and if not, you can request one. Also, you can still order your snacks and meals directly at quick service restaurants –
mobile ordering is not required. There are benefits to mobile ordering, such as scheduling pick-up windows in advance, to avoid waiting in long queues. However, some Guests prefer the experience of ordering at the restaurant directly, and that is ok too!
If I may, I would love to share some of my favorite snacks at Disneyland Resort!
1.
Mickey-shaped Beignets at Mint Julep Bar: They are warm, soft, and melt in your mouth. Beware, the powdered sugar will be everywhere but it’s nothing a napkin can’t fix.
2.
Willie’s Churros: I love the classic Disneyland Resort churro, warm and cinnamon-y. A friend recently alerted me that Willie’s Churros at Disneyland California Adventure has some of the freshest churros and I agree! I haven’t been disappointed yet. The cart is right by the fountain at the end of Buena Vista Street.
3. Sweet treats from
Jolly Holiday Bakery Café: I like to browse the display case for something sweet with my afternoon coffee. Last week I tried the Matterhorn Macaroon which was simply delicious.
4.
Quantum Pretzel at Pym Test Kitchen: This is a gigantic and filling snack, made for sharing. The pretzel is very soft and hits the spot, especially with the Sharp Cheddar Cheese-Beer Sauce.
5.
Vietnamese Iced Coffee at Lucky Fortune Cookery: A friend recently introduced me to this incredible coffee drink. I can’t believe I had never tried it until now!
All this talk about Disney snacks is making me hungry! I hope you have a practically perfect visit, Andrea. Come back and see us if you have any other questions!
