We are visiting Disneyland for 2nd time late in Sep. Last time we missed Fantasmic and the fireworks, that’s why now I want to make sure we enjoy the show. I am wondering what are the best views possible for both shows? And if they are in the same place?

    Hi, Julia Margarita!

I’m so happy to hear that you’ll be coming back to the Disneyland Resort this fall!  I’m glad you’re taking the time to plan your itinerary early, because that’s the best way to see and do everything your heart desires!

Fantasmic! is my all-time favorite show at Disneyland Park! Your best bet is to arrive early to snag a spot closest to the Rivers of America facing Tom Sawyer Island, avoiding any trees or light posts that might block your view. Bring along a blanket for comfort, as you’ll be seated on the ground. Fantasmic! is free with park admission, but premium viewing is available as part of a dessert sampler package for an additional fee. Call (714) 781-SHOW (7469) up to 30 days before the show to reserve your seats.

You can stay put after the early Fantasmic! show time (typically at 9:00 p.m.) to watch the fireworks at Disneyland Park from the same spot if you wish. However, the best place to view the fireworks is in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., where you’ll be able to enjoy all the music and lighting effects that go along with the show. As you choose your spot, ask a Cast Member if you'll be able to stay there during the show, because some areas are restricted or reserved.

I hope this information is helpful, Julia Margarita! Be sure to check the entertainment schedule online for show times as your visit approaches, or check the Entertainment Times Guide when you arrive at Disneyland Park. Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
