Hi, Stacey!
I’m so glad to hear you’re planning a visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth” for your anniversary weekend! My husband and I enjoyed many trips to the
Disneyland Resort as a couple before our son was born, and it’s still my favorite “date night” destination.
Paradise Pier Hotel is typically the least expensive of the Disneyland Resort Hotels, and the rooms are decorated with bright and airy seaside-inspired furnishings. It is right across the street from the resort hotel that’s closest to the parks—Disney’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa—but has about half the price tag. Plus, you’d still have access to the private entrance into Disney California Adventure Park through Disney’s Grand California Resort & Spa!
If you find that a hotel outside the Disneyland Resort better suits your budget, you may want to check out the Anabella Hotel. It’s my favorite off-property hotel because of its proximity to the parks (it’s directly behind Paradise Bay in Disney California Adventure Park and a short walk from the Downtown Disney District) in addition to its quieter location compared many of the other
Good Neighbor Hotels. It also boasts well-appointed suites and concierge-level rooms, which are the most upgraded and conveniently located toward the front of the property.
I hope this information is helpful, Stacey. Please let me know if you have more questions about accommodations or any other aspect of planning your pixie-dusted vacation!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
