Hey there, Daniel. Welcome to
planDisney. Your trip is right around the corner! You must be pumped.
Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels offer excellent value and convenience. You’re in for a great trip. Let’s talk about how to cover the final distance from your hotel to the parks.
First off, there are several Good Neighbor Hotels that offer free shuttle service. If you follow this link to the
Good Neighbor page on the Disneyland website, you can click on the “Amenities” filter button at the top of the page and check the box that says “Free Transportation to the Disneyland Resort.” If your hotel is listed, then you should be set! Check with your hotel to see the times and process for taking the shuttle to the Esplanade.
If your hotel does not provide transportation, the next best option is probably the Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA), a public bus system. The fares are reasonable, and there is plenty of information out there to plan routes, calculate fares, and track buses. For more information, check out the
Riding the Bus to the Disneyland Resort page on the Disneyland website.
In my opinion, the last resort would be to use a rideshare app. This will definitely get your family to the drop-off area pretty quickly.
I know that every step is valuable when you’re ready to hit the parks. I hope you’re able to smoothly get to the front gates so you can start experiencing the magic! Speaking of, you’re arriving just in time to experience the end of one of my favorite festivals, the
California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. There are so many delectable dishes to digest! Check out the
Disney Parks Blog's awesome
Foodie Guide to check out what you want to try. Purchase a
Sip and Savor Pass to try a variety of exquisite bites.
Daniel, don’t hesitate to bring more questions to us at

Have a Magical Day.
