We are visiting Disneyland soon with our 3 children! We will be bringing our 7 week old infant. Can we take them on any of the rides? Is it any ride that is “Any height” or does it have to be no lap bar or what determines if they can come on with me?

    Welcome to planDisney, Ashley!

Your visit to the Disneyland Resort is just a few short days away - you must be getting so excited! Happy to report that I have also strolled down Main Street, U.S.A. with an infant in tow, so you have come to the right place! I know there is a lot of debate about waiting to take the kids to Disney until they can remember it, but I'm a firm believer that any time is the right time. I cherish those memories I have with them in the magic - toddling around Fantasyland, waving to their favorite characters, and even seeing my infant's eyes light up as the fireworks sparkle over Sleeping Beauty Castle. You are in for a fantastic visit!

I have some very good news for you - essentially, any attraction that does not have a height requirement and is listed as "any height" is available to you and your little Mouseketeer. The best part is that you can search for these directly in the Disneyland Mobile App if you tap the map icon in the bottom navigation bar. Note along the top that you can filter the results - scroll over to "Height" and select "Any Height". I also like to view the results as a list, so tap "Show List" and everything will appear in alphabetical order. You will see that there are many, many options that your whole family can experience together from Jungle Cruise to Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway to Peter Pan's Flight - the magic is yours!

I also recommend checking out the Baby Care Centers at both Disneyland and California Adventure. These often served as a much-needed respite for me and my kids when they were very small. Picture an oasis of calm amongst the park hustle and bustle ... filled with everything a caregiver could need! There are quiet, private spaces for nursing, a kitchen with an accessible microwave, sink, and bottle warmers, high chairs for feeding wiggly toddlers, and a full room of changing tables. The Baby Care Centers are also well stocked with items for purchase in case you forgot something at home. I have to say the Cast Members staffed here are some of the sweetest in all the land!

Ashley, I sure hope this was helpful as you iron out the last few details of your visit! If you have any more questions or need a quick tip or two, we are always happy to help here at planDisney.

    Magic awaits!
