We will be visiting Disneyland Sept 2-4 and based on the Disney app it appears that no Royal Hall (to meet princesses), Dance parties, or parades are scheduled. Is it likely that these will be scheduled closer to the date or are they seasonal?

Happiest Greetings on Earth, Ali! Thank you so much for visiting planDisney and it will be an honor to help you continue preparing for your vacation to Disneyland Resort.

It sounds like you are well on your way to creating a magical itinerary for your upcoming trip! I'm glad you know about locating schedules and showtimes for various live entertainment offerings and character meet and greets within the Disneyland mobile app. This is definitely a great start. I'm sorry that no parades are currently scheduled to occur during your visit dates, Ali. That is always one of my top priorities too, but I recommend that you keep your eye out for other live entertainment options such as the Disneyland Band which can sometimes feature some appearances by characters. You can find their scheduled showtimes on the Entertainment Schedule under the section "Atmosphere Entertainment" along with several other live entertainment offerings that are sure to get your toes tapping!

As for meeting their Royal Highnesses, I do have a thought for you. I looked at the operating times to Meet Disney Princess at Royal Hall, and I see the same thing that you do. There appears to be no available times on the calendar past September 1. While I can't guarantee it, this seems like perhaps the available times simply haven't been updated for next month and it is possible that you may see some additional information released as your visit approaches. I would encourage you to keep checking the calendar for this character meet and greet, either on the mobile app or online! Another recommendation is to catch a showtime of Storytelling at Royal Theater in Fantasyland. This is a lovely and often-hilarious retelling of Disney classics like Beauty and the Beast or Tangled, and often you might see a Disney Princess make an appearance for a fairytale ending! If this is a priority for you, I would suggest planning to see a show on the first day of your stated visit dates, since this experience is only scheduled for performances on Fridays - Mondays, from what I can see on the Entertainment Schedule.

Ali, I hope this provides some options as you consider how to plan out your time at 'The Happiest Place on Earth.' I know you and your loved ones will make unforgettable memories together! If we can assist with anything else in the meantime, I hope you'll feel welcome to come back to planDisney with your questions.

    Magically yours,
    Tishra
