We will be visiting Disneyland Resort and staying at the Grand Californian. My father is in a wheelchair. Are there special wheelchair areas for World of Color at California Adventure? If not, can you offer tips for making this a good experience for him?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nannette. I'm excited to hEAR you'll be staying at the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa during your trip to the Disneyland Resort. I love the close proximity and the private side entrance to Disney California Adventure Park.

Although the viewing areas for the World of Color are designed for standing, there are designated areas in each section for Guests in wheelchairs or with mobility disabilities. If you have any questions while you are at the park, there are many friendly, helpful Cast Members standing by the World of Color who can provide assistance.

I hope this information is helpful for you. Please write us again if you have further questions, Nannette.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
