Hiya, Nikki!
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney. It’s a pleasure to help fellow Guests make the most of their visits to the Disneyland Resort.
Other than some special accommodations in the
Baby Care Centers intended for limited-use children’s food preparation, there are no microwaves in the Disneyland Resort theme parks. Guests of the
Disneyland Resort Hotels may use microwave ovens conveniently located at many of the self-serve vending locations. You can follow the posted signs or ask a Cast Member for the closest locations. At the
Disneyland Hotel, vending is located on the main level of each tower. Look for vending on the 100 wing of each floor of
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. My favorite spot is at
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. The Market, located on the main level of the Paradise Pier Hotel is a 24-hour grab-and-go self-service store, featuring various snacks and drinks. And, of course, it has microwave ovens for your use.
Tony’s Tip: As you are aware,
outside food and nonalcoholic drinks may be carried into and consumed in the Disneyland Resort. So too can
refillable water bottles. A slight twist on the refillable bottles is an insulated thermos. To save you a trip back to your resort hotel, a thermos may be able to keep your food warm enough to enjoy at mealtime. On the other end of the spectrum, if you have items that you would like to keep cool, freezer packs are recommended, since
loose ice is not permitted in the Disneyland Resort theme parks.
While special diets may keep us from enjoying everything that the Disneyland Resort may have to offer, I hope you are still able to enjoy some of the cool treats available. A couple of my favorites are nondairy soft serve from
Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats and sweet
Memory Refreshers from
Bing Bong's Sweet Stuff, both located at
Pixar Pier. Or in Disneyland Park, you may
mobile order a Dole Whip from the
Tiki Juice Bar.
Have a magical time, Nikki!
