Hi Diane,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Good news - there is a
Disability Access Service that can be used in the theme parks. When you arrive, stop by Guest Relations, explain your situation and request the Disability Access Service. A cast member will link the service to your MagicBand or Admission Card. This service functions much like Fast Pass+ in that you will receive a return time for an attraction. When my husband has registered for this service in the past, the girls and I have been allowed to ride with him. A cast member in Guest Relations will confirm how many additional guests can board the attraction with you.
Here is how it works. Any member of your party can approach a cast member at the entrance to an attraction, explain that someone in your group has the Disability Access Service and then request a return time for the ride. Once you return to check-in for the ride, you will need to check-in first since you will be the person with the Disability Access Service. The exceptional news is that we have been able to use this service in addition to
Fast Pass+.
Diane, if you have additional questions, feel free to contact us again or you may also contact Disability Services at 407-560-2547.
Sending pixie dust your way trusting that you will have a wonderful visit!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
