Hi Matthew and
bienvenue to planDisney.
I'm so excited to see that you're planning to travel "across the pond" to visit my favourite European holiday destination -
Disneyland Paris!
There are definitely some similarities between the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim and Disneyland Paris. The main one being the fact that there are two theme parks, located within walking distance of each other, complete with a shopping/entertainment district (Downtown Disney District in Anaheim and Disney Village at Disneyland Paris).
That said, there are also many things which are unique to Disneyland Paris. Some of my must-do's for first time visitors are:-
Disneyland Park
Big Thunder Mountain (the best version out of all the Disney Parks I have visited worldwide)
Phantom Manor
La Tanière du Dragon lurking beneath Sleeping Beauty Castle
Disney Tales of Magic
Walt Disney Studios Park
Crush's Coaster
Mickey and the Magician
Going back to your question, Matthew, an official release date has not yet been announced for when it will be possible to purchase
standalone park tickets for April 2026 to March 2027, but, based on previous years, I would expect these to go on sale around mid-November 2025.
I would recommend that you keep an eye on the Disneyland Paris website from early November so that you'll be able to purchase your park tickets as soon as they become available.
If you are considering a
Hotel + Ticket package, these actually went on sale earlier today, to US guests, for dates from April 2026 to March 2027. As park tickets are highly discounted when included as part of a Hotel + Ticket package, this could prove to be a great option for you and would give you the option of visiting the Disney Parks on every day of your visit, including both arrival and departure days.
Lastly, before I go, did you know that it was recently announced that the highly anticipated World of Frozen is due to open in Spring 2026? It looks absolutely incredible and I cannot wait to experience it for myself. We don't have an exact opening date at this moment in time but, fingers crossed it'll be before your visit.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
