Hi there, Christine!
Thanks for bringing another question to us at
planDisney. I’m so happy to hear you’re planning a visit during
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. There is so much extra festive magic to enjoy this fall season!
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) and manual wheelchairs are available for rent at the Stroller Shop located just east of the entrance gates to
Disneyland Park. A limited number of ECVs are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis and they cannot be taken beyond the limits of the two theme parks and the
Downtown Disney District.
You may want to consider using an ECV that is rented via an outside company if you want to guarantee you’ll have one available. Another benefit to doing this is that it can be used throughout the entire resort, including to and from your hotel room. You’d also be able to secure your rental in advance for the entire length of your stay versus one day at a time when renting on site at the resort. ScooterBug, a private rental company in the Anaheim area, is available to provide ECV pre-orders and rental deliveries for Guests staying at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. You can visit ScooterBug.com/Anaheim or call (800) 726-8284 for more information.
It may be helpful to review the complete list of services for Guests with
mobility disabilities before your trip. I definitely recommend checking out the list of ECV-accessible attractions and the attractions that may require Guests to transfer from their mobility device or walk by themselves while enjoying an experience.
I hope this information helps, Christine, and that your visit to
The Happiest Place on Earth is pixie-dusted to perfection! Do you have any other questions about your trip? Please feel free to
write back and ask.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
