Hi, Angelina!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question. I love visiting the Disneyland Resort during the Halloween season. The fall décor, the seasonal treats, and experiencing the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction all make for a festive and fun vacation!
On evenings when
Mickey’s Halloween Party is offered at Disneyland Park, as it is on Oct. 21, the park closes earlier than usual (in the mid- to late-afternoon) for Guests who have not purchased a ticket for the event. However, you will be able to enjoy the park as normal for the earlier part of the day. During that time, you can experience the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction, splurge on Halloween-themed treats, and enjoy not-so-spooky activities and crafts for kids at the Halloween Carnival at Big Thunder Ranch. My family especially enjoys watching the talented pumpkin carvers and meeting some of our favorite Disney characters in their Halloween costumes!
There are many other “spooktacular” extras available during Mickey’s Halloween Party for you and your little boy to experience, like the Halloween Screams fireworks spectacular, treat stations, lively music, and character meet and greet opportunities. Plus, everyone in the family is welcome to wear a costume—even the adults! If you wish to stay throughout the evening for the party, tickets can be purchased online in advance.
I hope this helps, Angelina, and that you have a wonderful visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! Please write back with more questions as you put the finishing touches on your vacation.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
