Hey there, Joe!
Welcome back to
planDisney, and thanks for bringing us another
Disneyland Resort question. I have to admit that I’m a little bit jealous of the
Halloween Time visit you’ve got planned! My family spent Halloween night in the theme parks several years ago, and it was an absolute blast!
I have heard that securing
dining reservations has been more difficult for many Guests lately, Joe. My best advice is to be persistent and keep checking the
Disneyland mobile app or
Disneyland.com to snag the tables you’re hoping for. It helps if you’re open to eating either before or after the most popular breakfast, lunch and dinner times. Also, if you are willing to split into two smaller groups to dine, you may have luck securing reservations that way. For example, look for a party of three and a party of four around the same time instead of a table for seven, and enlist friends or family to help you with the search! Lastly, I do know that some restaurants are accepting walk-up parties, so you can always inquire in person at the dining location to check for availability. This is how my friends and I were able to dine at the very popular
Blue Bayou Restaurant a few months ago, so don’t give up hope if you’re unable to reserve a table in advance.
I hope you're able to enjoy a meal at your favorite restaurants, Joe. Please feel free to ask any other questions that come to mind as you continue planning your pixie-dusted vacation!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
