Hello there, Andrea!
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I visited the Disneyland Resort during both of my own pregnancies, and I know that it's a little different than your usual trip. I'd love to give you some ideas for navigating the parks while pregnant!
You are welcome to
rent a wheelchair at the Disneyland Resort, and you won't need to provide anything from your doctor. So no worries in that department!
One thing that helped me feel my best during my pregnancies was staying hydrated, so I would recommend bringing a reusable water bottle that you can
refill at the water stations around the parks. Which leads to the next thing you'll probably need...restrooms! The easiest way to find restrooms is the map feature in the
Disneyland Mobile App. The app is also a great way to
mobile order a quick drink or snack, to keep your energy up!
There are a few
attractions that pregnant women are advised to skip, which can be disappointing for sure. When I was pregnant I decided that my family choosing a ride I had to skip meant it was time for a snack! Grab a treat and find someplace to sit and relax for a little while. Some of my favorite spots to take a break are:
Andrea, don't forget that both parks have
First Aid locations that you can visit if you start to feel unwell. Your health is the priority, so don't be afraid to take lots of breaks! I hope you'll have a wonderful visit to the parks. Wishing you a safe and smooth pregnancy!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
