Visiting disneyland Nov 1st - 8th 2025. Will they be doing halloween fireworks/parades or back to normal on the 1st? I wanting to see the 70th anniversary celebrations like paint the night & wonderous journeys etc.

Heya, hiya, Emma! Welcome back to planDisney! It's wonderful to see you again—I’m so thrilled you've brought us another question as you dream up and plan your magical adventures. What a treat to be there when the entire resort is radiating with the joy of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration. I can certainly see why catching headliners such as the Paint the Night parade and Wondrous Journeys is a priority for you!

You asked a great question about what to expect during your visit. Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will wrap up its spooky fun on October 31st. This means that by your arrival on November 1st, the Halloween Time fireworks and parades will have likely concluded, and the resort will be in a bit of a magical transition period.

Now, here’s where your timing might just be extra special! The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort event it's scheduled to begin on November 14th. This means your visit falls neatly between these two big seasonal celebrations. While nothing is ever guaranteed until the official entertainment schedules are released, my hopeful hunch for you is that this "in-between" period may be a fantastic time to experience the core anniversary offerings. So, there might indeed be a chance you'll get to see the dazzling Paint the Night parade lighting up the streets and the breathtaking Wondrous Journeys fireworks spectacular painting the sky, as the resort won't have fully switched over to its holiday best just yet. Please remember, this is just my optimistic wishful thinking on your behalf, Emma—we'll need to wait for Disney to announce the official schedule a bit later in the year.

The fantastic news is that the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will indeed be in full swing during your visit! So, beyond the hoped-for parade and fireworks, you'll find the entire resort shimmering with special touches. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for dazzling 70th Celebration décor throughout the parks, exclusive merchandise perfect for commemorating your trip, and an array of delicious, themed food and beverage offerings created just for this momentous occasion! Some beloved attractions are even getting in on the fun—for example, Toy Story Midway Mania! at Disney California Adventure Park features lots of fun nods to the 70th Celebration. It’s truly shaping up to be a memorable year!

To get the details as your trip gets closer, I highly recommend keeping an eye on the Disneyland Resort website, the Disney Parks Blog, and the official Disneyland Instagram account. They’re the best sources for the official announcements on entertainment schedules and seasonal offerings.

Emma, I'm sending lots of pixie dust your way that your visit aligns perfectly to see all the 70th Celebration magic you're dreaming of! It's a truly special time to be at the Disneyland Resort. If any more questions pop up as you plan, please feel free to send them our way!

    Have a magical day!
