I will be visiting Disneyland in the next 2 months for 3 days. Can I purchase a park hopper for the second 2 days and not for the first?

    Welcome to planDisney, John!

Hooray! I'm so excited that you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort soon! I'm also glad that you are considering park hopping. The parks are so close together that it makes park hopping incredibly easy. Plus, Park Hopper tickets give you flexibility in planning your days as you won't be tied to only one park. One thing to keep in mind is that the price to add the Park Hopper option is per ticket, not per day. This means that the cost to add the Park Hopper option is the same whether you add to your three-day ticket at the time of purchase, or whether you visit a ticket booth and upgrade to this option on day two or three. So it makes more financial sense to add it to your three-day ticket and enjoy the benefits of hopping for your entire stay.

When you purchase your tickets, you will be asked to pick the days you are visiting and to make a theme park reservation for each day. With a Park Hopper ticket, you will make a reservation for the park you want to start at each day and then at 1:00 p.m., you can hop to the other park. You can even hop back and forth between parks the rest of the day if you wish.

I hope this information was helpful. Have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
