We are visiting Disneyland next month (end of July 2025) and were wanting to book the Railroad tour but no dates are available for all of July. Is the tour not offered that month? Or do I need to call to book it?

Hi Makenzie, welcome to planDisney! Guided tours are a wonderful addition to any Disneyland Resort visit. They provide an opportunity to see the parks in a new way with nostalgia, interesting facts, and engaging stories.

Makenzie, the Disneyland Railroad Guided Tour is currently bookable through June 30, 2025 on the Disneyland website. Typically, tours can be booked up to 60 days in advance, so at this time, it appears as though the tour won't be offered beyond June. I remember hearing that, if it's too hot, the portion of the tour where Guests ride in the Lilly Belle becomes unavailable. It could be that the tour isn't offered during the warmer summer months for that reason, but that's just a guess. There isn't information available yet as to whether or not more dates will be added. You may want to check back in a few weeks and watch for announcements on the Disneyland Instagram account or Disney Parks Blog.

You should look into the newest tour, A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour at Disneyland Resort. This two-hour guided tour includes a ride on the Mark Twain Riverboat and the Disneyland Railroad, as well as a Lightning Lane pass for a select attraction. You'll also get reserved viewing for the Paint the Night parade and a keepsake. It's a great way to immerse yourself in the anniversary celebration, and I think it's a great value. Even better, it's currently bookable in July!

There are a lot of other fun ways to "Celebrate Happy" at the Disneyland Resort right now. You'll discover incredible shows, delicious food, exclusive merchandise, and vibrant decorations. To add to your visit, I recommend purchasing a dining package, which provides a meal and reserved viewing for the corresponding show.

Makenzie, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney. I'll make a wish that your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is magical in every way!
