We are visiting the Disneyland in mid-late September. Will a negative Covid test be necessary for my 6yo who isn’t eligible to be vaccinated?

    Hi Britt! Welcome to planDisney.

Your visit to Disneyland Resort is almost here! I bet you are so excited to explore The Happiest Place on Earth with your Mouseketeer. Halloween Time has arrived, and there is so much fall fun to be had around the theme parks and Downtown Disney District.

At this time, the State of California strongly recommends Guests are fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering Disneyland Resort. You will not need to show proof of vaccination or testing; it's an honor system. All guests ages 2 and older must wear face coverings while indoors. Because things are changing rapidly, I recommend reading the Returning to a Land of Magic guidance and the Disney Parks Blog to ensure you have the most up-to-date information.

Did you see the recent Disney Parks Blog Story about Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit in Downtown Disney District? It's a spook-tacular pumpkin hunt, where you'll look high and low for Disney-themed pumpkins. Find them all and exchange your completed game board for a fun prize. My kiddos love the seasonal scavenger hunts and look forward to participating between our visits. I hope your little one really "digs" it!

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope your family has so much fun on your visit this month. If you have any more questions as you count down the days, please come back and see us.

    Wishing you much magic,
    Robyn
