Visiting Disneyland the last week of February. Will there be Storytelling at Royal Theatre shows daily or is that a weekend only thing then? I know fireworks only happen on weekends just trying to see what we need to fit in on our Sunday vs Monday park day

Hiya, Jenna! Welcome to planDisney. We are so happy you found your way to our little corner of the magic with your question! A mid-winter trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is a great way to make those colder months feel bright and full of magic!

I can see that you are a planner at heart, like myself! Mapping out a Disneyland Resort vacation can start to put that pixie dust in the air and make those daydreams come alive! You'll want to make a note in your calendar to start looking out for the Entertainment Schedule about six weeks ahead of your trip. This is usually when it's published, and you can start putting the finishing touches on your planning. While I can't quite see all the way to February from my magic carpet, I can tell you that Storytelling at Royal Theatre currently performs on both weekdays and weekends. You are correct that at many points in the year, except for holidays and the summer season, fireworks move to a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday-only schedule. While I know this information is not set in stone, hopefully, it's helpful in your planning!

One way to be sure you don't forget any must-do attractions and shows is to tap into the cosmic powers of the Disney Genie Service. Once you have made your theme park reservations, open up the Disneyland Mobile App and tap the "+" along the bottom navigation bar. From here, select "View My Genie Day and Tip Board" and toggle to "My Day". It should automatically pull up the date that corresponds to the first day of your reservations, but you can always select "Change Day" in the top right-hand corner to select a different date. This is where you will see "Your Best Disney Day Awaits" ... and it truly does! By hitting the "Get Started" button, you will be able to select your favorite attractions, shows, and dining options. On the morning of your park day, the one and only Genie will deliver a personalized itinerary to your app that will make live updates as you move through the parks! My recommendation is not to overload Genie with too many top choices. Select 3-5 to ensure those are optimized into your day, one of them of course being Storytelling at Royal Theatre if it's performing that day!

Jenna, I sure hope this helps as you start to get that magic in order! If you have any more questions in your planning, you know where to find us here at planDisney!

    Keep wishing on those stars!
