I am visiting Disneyland in June, how can I make reservations for the new star wars area, and how soon can I make them ?

I can feel the Force is quite strong with you, Erica! What an exciting week it has been for Star Wars fans, with the fun news and announcements coming out of Star Wars Celebration Chicago!

I’m so excited for your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort, just in time for the opening of the highly-anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! Unfortunately, we don’t have specific details on exactly how the Reservation System will work yet, or when it will be made available. I recommend staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog, which is the best spot for any breaking Disney news!

Here’s what we do know about preparing for the opening: To visit SW:GE at Disneyland Park between the dates of May 31, 2019, and June 23, 2019, Guests need valid theme-park admission, and a no-cost reservation to access the land. If you're staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels during the above dates, you’ll automatically receive a designated reservation to access SW:GE during your stay. Hotel Guests should be receiving an email with details regarding their reservation soon.

May the Force be with you!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
