Hello, Katie!
Welcome back to planDisney!
Disneyland Hotel is one of my favorite hotels in the world! I love the nostalgic photos hanging on the walls, and it is fun spotting the differences in each tower. Disneyland Hotel has three towers - Adventure, Fantasy, and Frontier (plus the new Villas at Disneyland Hotel). I enjoy them all, although I love the view of the
Downtown Disney District from select rooms in the Adventure Tower.
Calling
Disneyland Hotel Reservations is the most effective way to request a specific tower. If I call to make a specific room request, I go ahead and check in on the
Disneyland mobile app. I usually wait until the day before my arrival to check in on the app to give the Cast Members plenty of time to assign rooms. They try to accommodate room requests as much as possible in my experience, although it is never guaranteed. If your assigned room is not in your preferred tower, you can stop by the front desk before going to your room to see if they can move you. I was able to get moved a couple of times this way. It is subject to room availability, of course, but it never hurts to ask!
I recommend allocating time during your vacation to enjoy the hotel amenities. My kids can spend all day zipping down the Monorail-themed waterslides! We like to spend at least one afternoon at the pool when staying at a Disney Resort hotel. You can even
mobile order food from the nearby
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill on the Disneyland app! I recommend placing your lunch or dinner order at least a couple of hours ahead of time to help ensure your preferred time is available.
Katie, enjoy your stay at Disneyland Hotel! We hope to see you real soon!
Magic Happens!
