Greetings, Dianne! How wonderful that you are bringing your grandchildren to the Disneyland Resort!
When you purchase your
tickets online and choose the Disney eTicket option, you will receive ticket vouchers by email within 24 hours of purchase. You can either print the vouchers and bring them with you, or have the vouchers available to scan from your mobile device. When you arrive at the parks, go directly to the turnstiles at the gates to redeem your ticket vouchers. You will then be given traditional paper tickets that you will use for the duration of your stay. Keep in mind that the 23-month-old will not require a ticket, but anyone age 3 and over will need a ticket to enjoy the parks.
One of the great things about the Disneyland Resort is that there are
attractions without height restrictions. This means that all your grandkids, even the youngest, can ride with you on attractions like "it's a small world," Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many, many more. If your other grandchildren are older and want to ride attractions with height restrictions, you can take advantage of
Rider Switch. This allows one group of eligible riders to ride the attraction while an adult waits with the 23-month-old outside of the attraction. Then when the first group is done, the person waiting with the toddler and up to two other Guests can now ride the attraction and skip most of the queue with their Rider Switch ticket. Simply speak to a Cast Member at the beginning of an attraction queue about Rider Switch for that attraction.
I hope you and your family have a magnificent time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
